Prabhu Ramanathan is a Director of Engineering with over 14 years of experience in building large-scale data and services architecture from the ground up. He is a self-starter and hands-on engineering leader who has worked in both large public and early-stage SaaS companies. Currently, Prabhu is managing the teams responsible for core services, application services, and third-party integrations at ParkourSC. Prabhu specializes in Microservices Architecture, AWS Services, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, MYSQL, Elastic Search, Redis, TestNG, JUnit, Jenkins, Docker, Java, Amazon Alexa Skill, Google Assistant Developer, and has expertise in building large-scale data and services architecture from the ground up. He has led an engineering organization with three cross-functional and geographically distributed engineering teams. Prabhu has architected and delivered the core platform services such as identity and access management, SSO integration, multi-tenant data sharing, customer messaging, and batch processing. He has also led and delivered customer-facing features for the logistics application, self-service admin portal, and developer portal for the external API integrations. In the past, Prabhu has worked as an Engineering Manager at Elementum, where he led Elementum's customer onboarding platform from a managed service to self-service and built integrations with six customers and hundreds of their suppliers/partners in this platform. He has also worked as a Backend Engineer (Side Project) at Spotluck, where he built the backend service from scratch for both iOS and Android mobile apps. Prabhu holds a Masters's degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from PSG College of Technology. He has also completed Android Development from Codepath.
